Alexia Axelrod

Alexia is a self-proclaimed philomath, a true lover of learning and knowledge. A proud Grand Junction native, she brings over four years of passion and experience in the beauty industry to Allure Beauty Bar.

After taking a brief hiatus from behind the chair to work with a youth-serving nonprofit that builds confidence in girls from kindergarten through high school, Alexia returned to the salon with a renewed love for helping others feel their best. Her favorite part of being a cosmetologist is empowering guests of all ages to feel confident experimenting with their look.

Alexia especially loves working with tweens, teens, and young adults, helping them create simple, sustainable beauty routines that extend the longevity of their professional services. Outside the salon, you’ll often find her volunteering in the community, strolling the farmers market, or baking something sweet to share.
