Behind the Allure: The Mission that Drives our Team

Introduction to Bobbi

To truly understand the heart and soul of Allure Beauty Bar, you’ll need to know about Bobbi Springer. Bobbi, Allure Beauty Bar’s owner, discovered her calling early in life. At the age of four, she was mesmerized by her grandmother styling neighbors’ hair in the kitchen. By her teen years, she knew she was destined to do hair and celebrate beauty through her work. Her certainty at a young age gave her the confidence to double up on her schooling, enrolling in both beauty school and high school simultaneously.

The head start served her well. After more than 10 years behind the chair under the guidance of great mentors, she was presented with the opportunity to purchase the salon she worked for and fulfill her entrepreneurial dream. With the purchase of what is now known as Allure Beauty Bar, Bobbi was able to re-brand and begin to expand the business based on her vision of what a salon could be.

Professional & Business Development

While such an undertaking is never easy, by 2022, Allure Beauty Bar was designated as one of the top 200 salons in North America by Salon Today, a designation that was earned again in 2023 and 2024 (not bad for a Grand Junction salon!).

Part of this success can be attributed to Allure Beauty Bar’s continuous focus on elevating the brand and enriching the guest experience. This quest for knowledge has led to Allure Beauty Bar’s collaboration with Summit Salon, a platform which has enhanced the brand through salon-specific coaching.

What is most significant about Allure Beauty Bar, however, is the clarity and reach of its vision. At the heart of this vision is the desire to foster a sense of community within the beauty industry, which is aptly reflected in Allure Beauty Bar’s mission statement:

“Our mission is to elevate the beauty industry by promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and ongoing learning within our team. Every guest is treasured as the foundation of our salon, and we strive to guarantee their satisfaction, experience, and well-being. Our focus is on providing exceptional service, fostering a positive atmosphere, and enriching the overall sensory journey to build a loyal customer base and set a high standard in the salon industry. At Allure Beauty Bar, every interaction is an experience, and we believe that every guest and team member is highly valued. We fiercely believe that you are loved, you are worthy, and you are beautiful.”

In a 2022 interview with Beyond The Technique, Bobbi highlights these sentiments and emphasizes the significance of the work stating, “We have a calling, if you are a business owner of any business, especially a salon owner, to…build people up and really empower them to take care of themselves, take care of their guests, and to elevate the professionalism of our industry.”

And this commitment to their guests is highlighted by the salon’s central tenets:

Growth, Expansion, & Paying It Forward

Despite rapid growth, these tenets have remained intact. In the last three years, Allure Beauty Bar has grown from 15 to 18 employees and expanded from 1,600 to 2,600 sq. ft. However, the aim at Allure Beauty Bar is not to be just another local Grand Junction salon, but also to empower all individuals. Allure Beauty Bar aims to stand out by being an authority on all things beauty and an educational resource that provides transparency about the industry, a role which Bobbi has leaned into by sitting in the Salon and Spa Council for the Professional Beauty Association.

Bobbi explains the salon’s overall relationship to growth, saying “As we’ve grown, both in size and team, our commitment to empowering our community has only deepened. We don’t just aim to be another salon in Grand Junction; we strive to be a beauty hub of knowledge, transparency, and excellence in our industry.”
